Pics of my G2 project
Here's a few pics of my G2 project. This is my first cart and it's been
a great experience so far. I don't have begining photos but I've painted her, clutch kit, K&N air filter, 4wheeler exhaust and jets for carb. I need more power!! Any advice on a cheap big block would be great!! Thanks |

As far as sheap big blocks, I dont know of any such animal. I got a deal on my Honda but then ended up buying all sorts of parts so that by the time I was up and running, I was real close to 3k. CPP sells a complete conversion kit for a G2 for 1950.00 to 2200.00. Every thing you need to be up and running in a day (subject to skill level) http://www.cartpartsplus.com/perform...es-yamaha.html |

My buddies was not closing all the way and we found that his clutch was a little messed up on his G1, we pulled it and rebuilt it but it had been bad for a while and the sheeves were never right so we simply replaced it with another OE one we found on ebay cheap. Lets see what the smart people say |

Reid, both clutches need 1 or 2 pumps of grease in the zirks, to make sure they slide easy. Try that first.

Re: Pics of my G2 project
Yeah, I was looking at that a few min. ago. I just put it on jacks and hit the gas.
seems to be going in and out ok. going to hit it with some grease to see if that will improve anything. when I'm going down hills hawlin butt it sounds restricted. Should I get a G9 ignition on it? will this help with the restriction? Thanks!! |

Re: Pics of my G2 project
I agree with the peep. better get what I want and only do it once instead
of a cheap one that will break again. Thanks for the advice |
