Tire Snow Chains
Does anyone know where I can get snow chains for 23" tires. We run our cart all winter taking my daughter to the bus stop and need chains to climb the hill.
Thanks, Ray |

Re: Tire Snow Chains
Ray, chains are expensive, I found some used ones for a
lawn tractor and shortened and narrowed them. Used the extra cross links to fill in between the other links. |

Re: Tire Snow Chains
Yes, that is what I did with my stock tires the last few years, but they don't fit my new tires. I can't seem to find anything large enough unless I use car chains. I was hoping someone just sold the right sizes...

Re: Tire Snow Chains
Look up some for older case and cub cadet (international) lawn tractors, some had huge truck size tires on them.
Can't you get a set of (yeah I know mo' money lol) mudlites or swamp tires (I forget the other one with huge tread), will they dig? I found a set of snow blower tires in 16 or 18, but narrow, just a huge tread on them. |

Moose chains $50. They can scratch your drive up though.
