Jim, the G8 is 3" longer and I believe wider than the G9. So putting the 9 body on I would think would be hard to do.

Mike, yea, I gave up on that idea when I noticed G9 is two peices and G8 is one. Bracing is all different and would be a pain to change. The G8 requires fill at the brace above yamaha. The G9 is in perfect condish. Wife wanted me to build up the G8. Wife won.

Spent weekend building the G8 lift, but she's done today. Now its time to remove the mud from the frame. Smashed my hands last night. Cart rolled forward, off the jack and trapped the cart/spring between my hands and the brackets I had just built. Hands stuck for 4 minutes while I yelled for my wife. She came out and lifted the cart off my hands. Not sure, guess wood in front of the cart slid on the garage floor. I have no voice today, but lift is complete! Luckily, didn't break anything. Just lots of swollen and brusing.

Man Jim! Hope your ok, sucks to get hurt! With these things, you gotta be careful, These cars are just to heavy to lift by your self, but light enough that if you push or jerk on something, they will slide off a jack. So you gotta think before you grab something. Use jack stands and make sure the car is solid on them. 2 stands in back and 1 in front.
