Default g14 cylinder clearance

Good Morning to all I took my engine block to the machinist and was told the normal clearance was 1 and my cylinder wall was about 7.25. He said I needed the piston and ring set size of .50 over. Could someone tell me what the clearance is and what size piston and rings I need. If I take it to .50 over does this leave anything to work with for the future. I have only seen 3 sizes of piston and rings available. Thanks in advance for all replies.

Cutting a cylinder .50mm over does not leave anything for the future, at least in Yamaha pistons. I am not certain what clearance 1 means or 7.25. I usually allow .035mm for clearance between a piston and cylinder. What is the current inside measurement of your cylinder in MM? That would help.

Yes I checked on that but can these engines be sleeved for future rebuilds?
Do you happen to know the torque settings for the following:
Piston rod halves
cylinder head
Thanks for your reply it is appreciated
