Default G9 No start, fuel, no spark

I am stumped, I grounded the removed plug to the muffler and the muffler bolts and to the head (hard to see spark there), fuel is coming out of the hose going into the carb. Ran great in the fall when I bought it. I figure its the coil?, looks like it is under the passenger side of the seat, forward. Is there anyway to troubleshoot this? or just buy a new coil and go from there?

Welcome to BGW

Check the main fuse on the rear drivers side inner fender well. Check all connections.

You are saying that the starter and the whole engine turns over but does not fire? You said you have no spark? Is your plug good? Are the two small wires from the coil to the igniter and solenoid okay? (If these are heavily taped, you should remove the tape so you can trace connections). Is your plug cable (in cars, this is called the high tension wire) okay? Is your pulsar coil/wirings to ignitor and ground okay?

If any one of those mentioned is not functioning/disconnected, then your engine will not fire.

It could be an ignition coil assy problem. Borrow a working one then swap.

Wiring is the typical problem, check this stuff out before you buy anything. You can get a spark tester at autozone for $5 or so, makes it a lot easier to test spark.
