Default Yamaha G-16 electric connverted to a gas cart????

So heres the deal wanting to put a big block in my G16. To offset the cost Im trying to find a G16 with a junk motor. I found a cart same style as a G16 but the rear body has the hole for the charger plug in. The picture shows a motor in it and its not running. the fuel tank is on the drivers side instead of passenger side. Can I put my motor in it somewhat simply if it was an electic cart??? The cart is super cheap says its being sold for parts only being its not running??? Help me out here fellas!!!

You would need a gas rear end. If it has a fuel tank it's probably gas.

These are the pics of it and as you will notice the tank is on the wrong side. Right against the exhaust!!! and has a hole for electric. Its priced cheap but just want something to bolt my stock motor in and go! Thoughts?? The dude hasnt replied to me about it yet either...

Thanks, Otto. That body may have been changed or the engine replaced. Does it look like the original engine? Someone will recognize it. Looks like a good candidate for your BB.

Where you located in Illinois?

Otto, That is a Yamaha G14-a. Long story, but your G16 engine really wouldn't work. I wouldn't want the muffler that close to the gas tank. You could change the lift and body parts ect from your G16 to the G14 and Big Block the G14?

Thanks for the insight! I want the BB in my Red G-16 that I have pics of on here. My goal is to find another G-16 with a blown motor and drop my existing stock motor in it and then fix it up and flip the cart with my stock motor to offset the cost of installing the BB. Make sense??? hahaha
