Those silly little spacers under the rocker panel trim..
I've seem to have lost mine... Any suggestions on what to use instead? Or how thick they are? I have nice new diamond plate that I am putting on my restore project and I don't want to cause a crease in the diamond plate with out having those spacers. Or does anyone have four laying around they want to mail me?

Use 4 nuts big enough to let the 1/4 bolt slip through

Cut some 1/2" PVC pipe to fill the gap?

Whatever works and isn't so big it sticks out from under the rocker? Smaller 5/16 nut and a few small 1/4 washers? Those things always get lost....

Re: Those silly little spacers under the rocker panel trim..
Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware and hobbie shops carry a variety of these plastic spacers which can be drilled, sanded and/or cut to desired size.
Try this google link to see what I'm talking about. These are pretty cheap and should not scratch. |
