Some dealers sell for full retail. Some will cut you a deal to make the sale in order to beat another dealer's price. It will be a percentage.

Not that I am in the market wright now but I checked with my local Club Car dealer on there price for the Xcelerator kit. There price is 640.00 + tax. No brakes on price here!

Just got a quote from local CC dealer for an Xcelerator kit---$693.+tax !! I am sure we will see some one on the forum come up with a clone PDQ. I am doing a body-off on my 2004 so it would be a piece of cake to bolt on a kit now. I am going to try sponsor list now.

That is just stupid when C.C. Has a Press Release with the price listed. Field-installed Xcelerator Clutch Kit MSRP: $584.

Exactly.... and $584 is FULL retail price. It should NEVER be marked up by a dealer.

Z71Dave-Local dealer has a lock on territory for about 100 miles around and hoses us on any CC parts. I called a dealer 150 miles from me and he quoted the $574. price He told me to call when I need the kit and he would be glad to send me one by Fed EX. Thanks for your heads up.

I would be interested in this kit. Wish there was somewhere that it could be purchased online not really finding much info on it. So does it make the rpm's increase also like the governor adjustment?
