Default Front Receiver Hitch & Push Bar Project

Thought I'd share the first project I've been working on. It's a bit different way of rigging up a push bar on a Club Car. Due to limited space in the trailer, I didn't want anything to extend the length of the Cart, so deceided to use a trailer receiver so the push bar can be removed quickly.

The receiver is a standard 6" long 2" sq. receiver I got at O'Riellys, and I made this simple mount - two 3/8's bolts into the bumper support, and another 1/2" bolt though the bottom into the leaf spring lower plate. Seems quite simple to me, I'm not to sure how well it's going to work yet.

Anyway, here's a couple pix - I'll post the push bar part soon, trying to finish that up today.

Thanks -First hit off the trailer last November it ran a 5.30@136 on a shakedown pass after 4 years of work on it. This year we had it out few weeks ago, but ran into gremlins and didn't get to make a pass. Taking it out again next weekend and hope to see at least a 5.0X if all goes ok.

Here's the Push Bar Mount - we're going to give it a test run tonight and see how it works.

Thanks - We tried it out tonight and pushed the Nova around the block, works really good, even around corners.

Backing up is going to take some practice to do that smooth haha. Took us a few times to get that working ok.
