Default RPMS on stock club cart 295CC Robins

Hello,

I am new to gas club carts.

I purchased a 2006 stock club cart with a 295CC Robins motor.

I test drove it and it was going 10 MPH according to GPS, so from reading this form i learned how to adjust toe governor and now it goes 15 - 16 MPH. Not sure of the RPMS, so i am going to buy a small tach to put on the cart.

Wondering what RPM range is safe for this motor. I am happy with the current speed but if i decide to turn the governor a little more if you all think that would be advisable?

Again thanks for this great form and look forward to learning more everyday.

Club cars don't use Robin engines, they have used Kawasaki motors for years now. You sure it isn't an EZ-GO ?

Chris.
