Default All Sports lift kit 6" quailty

I am going to install a lift on my ezgo gas txt
I went to my local dealer and they only stock all sport lifts
They said they they were the same as jakes but cheaper with better parts support
They want $250 for the kit alone or $300 installed.
They said the lift kit takes less the 1 hour to install
I see the kits online for $179.00 is the all sport a good kit.
I don't plan on this cart going offroad.
does all sport require a different offset. The dealer said I can't use my stock wheels after the lift.
I figured I could us my old wheels but the cart would look dumb
This cart will be "all show no go"

Please don't say all sport is junk if you only have forum experience with the product.

Thanks

2009 EZGO GAS TXT

Is this for an EZGO?
Spindle Lift or A-Arm? (Club Cars have a choice - don't know if it's an EZGO)

I have a 6" All Sport A-Arm lift on my Club Car. The quality seems fine, especially if you are staying on-road. I'd check the sponsors here for the price. It's not unreasonable, but you might save a few dollars. I've never touched an EZGO or done a spindle lift, but an hour install seems very ambitious.

I install all sports a-arm kits all the time. They are very good quality IMHO. However, the pricing you stated sounds like a spindle lift. Either way, all sports is very decent.

Moved to EZ Go gas...

Yes... All Sports lifts are nice, and yes, you need larger (10"+) rims!
Stock rims are 8".....

does it matter if it's a spindle lift or A-Arm lift?

Is the quailty still good on but? This place sells a lot of custom carts almost all EZGO. They don't seem to like to answer a lot of questions they prefer to build it for you versus having you DIY

I have the long travel kit on my cart and just put a spindle lift on another cart both went together great no issues. I think you will be happy.

I have the AllSports Hi-5 Lift on my cart, even though the lift is for a TXT. I made the necessary mods to my Workhorse to use the rear lift parts and the front bolted in without any mods. The quality is excellent, and the customer service at AllSports is outstanding. I had a minor problem with my kit when I received it and their customer service immediately took care of my problem.

If your local cart shop won't talk to you or answer your questions then I would go elsewhere. I don't trust someone that only wants my money and doesn't provide good customer service. If you have the basic tools necessary for the installation buy the lift kit you like from a site sponsor and install it yourself. The install is fairly simple even if you don't have much mechanical experience.

To answer your main question, YES. AllSports builds high quality American Made products that you will be happy with, especially if you are building a show cart. Good luck and send pics.

Oops, I forgot about your wheel size question. Check with AllSports about the lift you intend to buy about required wheel sizes.

http://www.allsportsliftkits.com/ind...hierarchy=Lift Kits

Go to this page and look at the wheel size requirements, I see the 6" spindle kit requires 10" or 12" wheels.
