I tried clicking it from neutral to reverse 5 times and the beep code I'm getting is 2-4 which is "solenoid coil failure or disconnected". The symptoms for that is supposed to be cart won't run, but it does just not very good.
If the solenoid is welded closed the cart will go into limp mode - which is what you are describing. Remove the solenoid resistor and test the on/off function across(between) the large posts

How exactly do I test that? Sorry I'm not really electrically inclined. The solenoid resistor is the wire connecting each post correct?

Also, check the voltage on J1 Pins 4 & 5. They ought to be FULL battery pack voltage.
The controller uses the voltage on those pins as a reference and if they are less than FULL pack voltage, false errors can occur.

Hopefully, you put the Run/Tow in Tow when you switched out the batteries.
If not, you may have taken out the controller. (IE: Cart ran fine after first two batteries were replaced, but started misbehaving after moire batteries were changed)

The cart ran fine after changing the first 2 batteries. The next morning after charging all night it did not run good anymore. It just jolted like it was dead. Then I replaced the third battery and now it runs but not to full capacity. It ran great and at its worst after replacing the 2 batteries before even touching anything else. So it went bad prior to doing anything other than the two batteries. It seems to of gone bad overnight.

Also as I was saying I'm not super familiar with carts. I don't understand the terms J1 Pins. Not really sure what that means

You might consider taking cart to a shop. Electric golf cart repair troubleshooting can be challenging. But you have come to the right place to get help. J1 is a connector on the controller and it has pins numbered 1,2,3,4, etc referenced on a electrical wiring diagram which someone will post hopefully.

I took it to the shop and they claimed it was the batteries but that didn't fix it.

I must have misread the sequence. (Coffee hadn't kicked in yet. )
The Run/Tow switch was flipped to Tow before disconnecting/reconnecting any electrical wiring, correct?

If the cart had been sitting for a while before you got it, try unplugging all the molex plugs on the controller, squirt them with contact cleaner and plug back in while still damp.

There is also an inline connector going to the pedal box that causes problems, clean it too.

Check for worn insulation on the F1/F2 cable where they are routed around the battery tray. (see picture)

J1 is the 10 pin connector on the front of the controller.
Here is a schematic for a PDS cart with a drawing of controller identifying the various connectors that plug into it.

I did not put in Tow mode every time before messing with anything. That's my bad, I was told that was only when I need to push the cart. How do I test the solenoid and the controller to see if one went bad? The morning after I changed the initial 2 batteries, I backed it out fine and went to take off and it just quit and started the jolting. That's when I replaced the 3rd battery and it started running just not very well.
