Re: Jake's Sport Shifter
Mine makes it very easy to find neutral. It is a longer throw, (guess I could shorten it a bit), but is very, very easy shifting my HD F&R.
The instruction for the gas are exactly the same as needed for the electric. The only deviation I had was the cross cart arm, (internal arm), needed adjustment. I finally had to move the entire switch toward the outside of the cart to have enough adjustment to engage both forward and reverse. As shown in the video, there is an adjustment at the shifter itself. But even after making every adjustment, in both directions, I had to move the switch. It just would not fully engage the lugs in forward. |

Re: Jake's Sport Shifter
Way cool stuff!! Being a HC cart driver myself, "stuff" like this is neat to see. I have one of ScottyB's Super Duty contactor's that replaced my F\R TXT monster to use selector. Now it's just a flick of a switch and it's really easy to select the direction. Plus, I now have a neutral....which with grandkids....is a great option!!!
CTD.....I don't care what all of those PM's I keep getting about you say. I don't think I'd punch you in the mouth anyway. Even if what you said about my sister is true. (Just don't post the pics) |
