How far were you able to go on the 22" and how far can you ride with the 24's?

What charger are you using with the US Batteries?

Not exactly sure just feels like a lot shorter with the 24s but I was in mud hauling 2 people and 2 stands it only lasted about 6-7 miles with the 24's is that about right? The charger is a Yamaha 48 volt charger

So, you are charging a 36v TXT with a 48v yamaha charger? Must be more to the story i am missing... What model "yamaha 48v charger", there are actually 4, all from different manufacturers (technically none of them are made by "yamaha"). Got a charger model number?

US Batteries require a higher charge voltage then other FLA batteries. Your charger is probably undercharging the cells. On next charge monitor pack voltage while charging. What is the peak voltage the charger hits just before it turns off?

I have looked at it before and it's around 58-59 V peak charge

Sounds like a "MAC scr 48 17". I believe all the MAC "yamaha spec" chargers were setup for Trojan batteries. It sounds like you might be having battery problems tho, not charger problems. Check charger "finish voltages" again since battery problems are now showing up. Try to check it on a real charge cycle, not a "already fully charged, unplugged & replugged" cycle.

Your batteries are undercharged. Your charger needs to output 60-62 volts to fully charge US Batteries. Attached is a snip from the US Battery technical service bulletin and the TSB itself.

I would consider a DPI charger from ScottyB. It is programmable for US Batteries.
