Yamaha G9a startng
Hi, Having trouble with my G9a cart starting. Relay is good, start switch is good and battery vltage is good. However, it doesn't always start. Could it be a weak ignitor? If so how can I test it?

Re: Yamaha G9a startng
I am looking at the same issue on a G2, I have zero spark. switch, coil, plug cap and ignition pickup are all testing fine. down to wiring and the Magical Black Box.

My G9a won't turn over. I am getting a voltage drop at the relay and it won't kick in when I step on the gas. SOMETIMES

Re: Yamaha G9a startng
Check the switch that's under the gas pedal. Mine would act up intermittently somethines before I finally bought a new one. Just unhook the harness and check for continuity with a meter as you press the little button in and out.
