2008 EZGO PDS battery gauge problem
After charging cart the LED gauge want go all the way back up to full charge.It stay where it was when I put it on charge.The charger charges the batteries and kicks off when they are charged.I have put it in tow mode and disconnected the main wires and gauge will reset to full charge.I have replaced guage and it's still doing same thing after riding it.It charges up but gauge want come up to full without disconnecting wires for reset.Any ideas what could be wrong.Batteies are 1 year old and all test good

Those gauges are not accurate and it should be replaced with a digital in dash LED meter. I have them on my website with the integrated key switch plate for all Ezgo TXTs

Well, before we automatically condemn the gauge (i know, everyone hates them). Should we not see if the voltage is going high enough to reset the meter while its on charge? What is the on-charge voltage just before the charger shuts off?

A little troubleshooting experience to prove it's inaccurate might help it serve some cause before tossing it.

Done replaced gauge and it does the same thing,want read full charge unless I disconnect from batteries,then it works fine.Its resets it I guess.Works while u ride it,it falls over time but want go up when charged
