Re: Tire size confusion
A 20 inch tire is only 1 inch wider than an 18 because you measure from the middle. A 20 has a 10 inch radius and a 18 has a 9.

Re: Tire size confusion
You're only adding 1 inch into the wheel well. The other inch adds to the cart's total height.

So to recap...
The stock tire are 18 inch's... If a get a 20 inch tire, you are adding only 1 inch into the wheel well. This also adds 1 inch of total height? This is like a Jedi mind trick. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Tire size confusion
No its not. A tire is a circle and has a diameter and a radius. Since the cart is mounted in the center of the wheel only the radius matters or half the height. Which is only 1 inch larger than a stock tire. One inch of the 2" overall height goes above the axle and one inch is below the axle which increases the total height of the cart by 1" as that one ich is below the mounting point.

After the explanation it makes since...but it still seems like a Jedi mind trick.
After taking my handy little tape measure and only got 19 inches up to the wheel well and you start thinking how does a 20 inch tire going to fit? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

This leads to one other thought.
Based in the picture I uploaded, does this look like the leaf springs are still good? Anyone have a measurement of their cart like this with stock tires? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk |

Re: Tire size confusion
the purple cart to the left has 205-65=10 on the rear, the candy apple cart has stock 18 inch tires kind of give you an idea of clearance
