EMP modifies existing motors so its the same casing the core part had. Most of them seem to be AMD.

I think he only rebuilds from existing cores. My options were 3 AMD cores and one Admiral. I inquired as to if he had an Admiral D2 core, and he told me that he has never seen a D2, but has rebuild plenty of B2s. He told me he gets cores from all over.
I was hesitant on using EMP at first. Someone on here mentioned them so I went online and filled out the questionaire. Chuck was very responsive with emails and went in great detail on his responses. Like everyone else, I was never able to get him on the phone. His wife is also very knowlegable. I did speak to her during the ordering process. Chuck built motors at GE for several years so he knows his stuff. The pricing was also very good. My ranges on his provided options were $250 to $350. |
