One more question has come up. I've also learned about wheel offset.

A set of rims I'm looking at have a 2+5 offset. Should I assume that this won't be a problem on the cart?

BTW - found this helpful graphic that explains offset in a general sense:

Since the drawing doesn't identify which side the rim faces the cart when mounted, it isn't clear if a positive offset or a negative offset moves the tire outboard to the cart. However, from what I've read on-line, I'm under the impression that a negative offset is the one that gives your more clearance between tires and cart.

I'm pretty sure the 2+5 means the hub only goes 2" inside the rim and 5" of the rim are outboard of the hub.

Thanks Johnnie. And I should have some text along with the image:

Positive Offset
A positive offset occurs when the hub mounting surface is on the street side (the side you see) of the center line of the rim. Most factory rims will have this type of offset.

Zero Offset
When the hub mounting surface is centered within the rim, it is known as a zero offset.

Negative Offset
If the hub mounting surface is on the brake side of the center line of the rim, it is considered a negative offset or “deep dish”.

...and Merry Christmas! :-)
