Re: Make these wheels fit!
No. You shouldn't have to force anything. Are they too big in diameter? Or too long?

Re: Make these wheels fit!
I don't have a part diagram to sound technically sound so forgive me. I cannot slide the rim past the hub to fit snuggly against the mount where the 4 bolts come out from. I have a 1/4" gap or so. I can screw on the wheels but not as far as stock rims.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
Ok. Take a tape measure and measure the depth of the center cap on the wheel, and compare it to the hub and see how long it is..... If it's too long, remove the dust cap and see if it will work. If it's too big around, that's another issue.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
I tried that. That is my issue. With the dust cap removed the rim will not fit snuggly and the dust cap cannot be placed. The rim will slide on only until it hits the outermost diameter of the hub.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
The picture I posted of the wheel on the hub is as far as it will slide. Maybe that helps.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
Possible to install a Precedent wheel hub on my DS to make it fit? You are the pro. I don't have any but maybe someone has used ones.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
I see the dust cap still on the hub. Take the dust cap off and leave it off. The center cap on the hub is sealed, or at least it was at one time. It's supposed to have a Club Car sticker on it like the other wheel you showed a picture of. You don't need a dust cap if the center cap of the wheel is sealed.

Re: Make these wheels fit!
You know, if all you're talking about is a 1/4 inch, plus you have enough threads to work with then just go to the hardware store and buy some washers. Two washers per stud should be more then enough. I call it the poor man's wheel spacer.
Have a great cruise Dave. |

I popped the center cap and was able to get the wheel closer. Now less than 1/4" or so. But the wheel cap won't fit anymore. Almost fits. Stays but does not click in. I am open to suggestions.IMG_2961.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
