Exclamation Re: can not get cart to move

Hope you can get it going soon, you are in the right place for help. Just a word of caution. Especially if you don't know anything about what the previous owner did, and you have switched wires around etc. please jack the rear wheels off the ground because unlike a gas cart, this thing could possibly take off wide open at any moment. Better safe than sorry.

ok, update. got it to run, but had to bypass OBC,now when it goes forward the backup buzzer goes off, also it is barely moving,{ very slow}

So now gonna buy a new OBC, or can this be bypassed? I see these conversion kits, is this something maybe I should use? Or a must have?
Thank you guys for all the replies.

You can definitely bypass it, but if you have the original Club Car Powerdrive, it will no longer work correctly. You have to get a Smart charger like a DPI Auto Sense. If you do not have the OEM charger and are already using a smart type charger, then you are best off to bypass it completely and remove it.

I' am not complaining at all.
I think someone just took parts off it, the switches and who knows what else.
I told you these guys are good. CTD to the rescue....

The PowerDrive will charge the batteries, but it will not shut off with the OBC bypassed.
You will need to keep an eye on charge cycle so you don't damage your batts until you get the parts you need or a DPI Accusense charger.

There are 3 wires in the rocker F&R, correct?
If yes swap the 2 outer wires to fix the slow speed /beeper in forward problem.

If no, there is a grip of wire in the F&R for some silly engineering reason then swap the 10g wires at the motor on F1 and F2.
