2008 or 2008.5 ???
I have a precedent an lookin at some parts Im not sure what I have. I see some parts are for certain years up to a 2008.5. Also what is the difference. I read the sticky on identifying the year of the buggy but it really didnt help me much. Here is my numbers from the tag if some could help me out I would sure appreciate it. PQ0840-968807.

Just a quick correction, the 40 represents the 'week of production' not a calendar week.
The 2008 model production started in August 2007 (production of new models starts in Aug for Club Car). The easiest way to check is from the location of the Controller and electronics. If the Controller is mounted between the batteries, it is a 2008 and earlier. If the Controller is on the back of the battery bucket, it is a 2008+ model. There were also changes in the dashboard. Edit: Found the exact date, S/N after 0819-905217 manufactured after Jan 15 2008 are the new models (2008+). Last edited by Sergio; 11-30-2017 at 07:24 PM.. Well...I learned they changed the steering collum position in this year...what a headache. Why would they change things in the middle of a model year. But.....Im learning.....LOL

Well...I ordered a dash for it and at the very top of the box that covers the steering collum in the dash they are different. after getting the dash and trying to put it in it wont fit at the top above the collum. so I went back and started looking at different dashs and they are cut different. the whole 2008.5 and up is were it all went wrong. I see the one that I need.. it is...2008.5+.I have my kids here and am gonna get them to learn me how to post pics...I know we all like PICS...LOL
