Default Just a little bit more power

I bought a 2000 (ser#A0047) Club Car DS 36v to use in campgrounds. It was stock but I added 6" a-arm lift, 22" tires on 12"wheels, LED head and taillights and a charge gauge. Still saving up for a rear flip seat and some nerf bar steps. Cart is in decent condition, 1 year old batteries and runs well. I don't want a 30mph speed demon but I would like just a little bit more speed and torque. What would be the easiest and least expensive things to start with to give me just a little more get up and go? I plan on getting some 4 gauge cables with my next parts order and as soon as the weather breaks I plan on pulling batteries to clean frame, batteries and terminals. I want to do my upgrades in stages so I don't have to spend so much at one time. Thanks for any advice.

The new tires are about 20% taller than stock. They reduce the power by an equal amount. A 2000 DS 36v is a resistor coil cart.
The only way to get that power back is to convert to solid state speed control and upgrade to 48v

Why convert to solid state speed control?

What are the things I would need to get ScottyB? I get a little confused looking at all the stuff on your site.
