Default New to me club car 36 wont go!!!

Hi i just got a 93 cc from my nighbor for free!he said it sat outside for about 6 years stoped working does not know what was wrong with it. I washed it all up cleaned all the moss off lol. First thing i adressed get the charger to work l. Little tinkering with that jumped out the timmer and presto charger works. Now i plug the charger in on the cart for about 2 hours and press the gas peddle i hear 5 audible clicks but no movement. I jacked it up and same results i topped off all cells with distilled water. When i remove the charger it wont even click. Im guessing bad batteries?

What is the pack voltage? How old are the batteries?

Yes, as MC asked, what is the pack voltage, but since it only initiated electrical operation while on the charger, it does sound like the batteries are shot. Just as they would be based on age and maintenance.

New battery time. Check Costco. They have some good deals.

Had one same age....need to hydrostat batteries....mine when I jacked it up wheels would turn but not enough current to move when on the ground...had four batteries that were junk....grayish brown liquid in cells.... fact it’s 6 years w/o being maintained, that’s a great place to start

Charger might be turning on cause of surface voltage...but amperage makes things go[emoji3]
