Charger fuse arcing
My daughters golf cart charger was arcing in the fuse area while plugged into the cart and wall. The fuse viewing window previously looked overheated from the previous owner. I am getting ready to troubleshoot this when I get home from a business trip Thursday. In preparation for that ,I was hoping to get some advice. Attached is a video of the arcing. It arcs when the housing is tapped. Thanks

Re: Charger fuse arcing
There is a "retrofit kit" to replace that fuse due to the heat problems that fuse is known for. I would quit using it until the issue is addressed. Will post kit part number in a minute.
MAC-WP154-77 Kit includes new design fuse, hole block plate, wires & terminals to connect it, and instructions. |
