Put the Moric back on this evening and the cart works perfect. Basically I had a bad ignition switch that was missed by a so called golf cart mechanic. I don’t know what’s going on inside the alltrax controller, but to me it looks like the electrical signal to the motor is pulsing. It constantly sends the electricity to the motor then stops. It would literally do it over and over until you turn the key off.

Finally was able to sit down and contact Alltrax support. The controller was set to low side drive, and he said that would make it do crazy stuff like it was. Set the control to high side, and this thing flies. It’s as fast or faster than my father in law’s brand new club car.

I'm shocked! If someone would have told me that a yamaha/moric conversion job would even try to run at all on "low side drive", I would have laughed. At least it's an easy fix.
