Leaf batteries came with a 10 year warranty from the factory when new, so I wouldn't think it'd be a stretch to say we could get 10 years out of a used pack on our carts at a fourth of the price of these Trojans.
I've been on this site a few years and haven't seen one person come back yet and say they needed to replace their Leaf pack. I know of a couple of guys that have been using them for 4 years or more and say they're still holding a charge and getting the same mileage on a charge as they did on day one.

Depending on usage rate, 2.5 years is plenty time to show a performance drop in even the most well maintained battery packs. Not that 2.5 years is ancient for the pack age, but if a set of lithium batteries maintains 95% or better performance at 10 years, one can argue the value is justified with an increased cost on the front end.
