Default Factory battery charger

I have a 2010 G29 that came with a Yamaha battery charger. It's the JW9. How good of a charger is it? Is there a better charger? The reason I ask is that I have learned a lot about battery charging for boondocking in an RV. Many chargers don't charge batteries at Trojan's specs, and therefore the batteries don't receive a true full charge. If I have to get a better charger, is there one that can installed as an onboard charger? It's a pain in the butt storing the charger when not being used, getting it out to charge, then putting it away when done....
I have the four 12 volt battery set up, and there's room between the batteries for a charger. I can fabricate a suitable box for a charger if it's small enough to fit in that space. The box would have to pretty much isolate the charger from the batteries, and still be capable of allowing the charger to be cooled.

Default Re: Factory battery charger

You want a Lester Summit II 650w.
It’s the best one on the market right now. Small profile so it fits on-board nicely. Uses a phone app to connect to the charger via Bluetooth so you can change battery profiles, see charge status, and remaining charge time.
It’s also more energy efficient, so will not use quite as much energy from your RV to charge the cart.
Several of our site sponsors carry them in stock.
