36 volt solenoid
I have a fellow that has a 1993 Yamaha G9 that is a 36 volt electric . The solenoid has burned out and a terminal fried right off . The dealer has a new one for $325. CDN . I was wondering if a solenoid from an EZGO 36 v or a 48 v club car would swap in without causing any new problems . I have a good used club car 48 v solenoid. I don't want to install a new problem when trying to fix the oil problem .

Re: 36 volt solenoid
For the most part all these solenoids work the same. They can have different capacities. Some CC solenoids have a built in diode indicated by a red + mark. But yes, if you are careful you can find an Ezgo, Yamaha, or CC solenoid that will work assuming the cart voltage matches.
