1988 Marathon project
So I bought our first cart; an 88 Marathon. I started to rebuild/refurbish with the help of people on this forum. I'm not sure I'm finished asking questions, but I thought I'd share my progress.

Re: 1988 Marathon project
As you can see, the floor pan and outside frame rails were shot.

Re: 1988 Marathon project
I welded some new metal in and sprayed everything with truck bed liner.

Re: 1988 Marathon project
I was finally able to put a good days work in yesterday. The original accelerator rod was bent and the original spring was missing, so I had to make my own. I used a collar to hold the spring. I'm still waiting on the brake pedal spring; that's why the brake cables look slack. I also found out that body work is my kryptonite...hahaha

Re: 1988 Marathon project
The seat back isn't original to the Marathon. A friend thinks it came from a Club Car but it looks to me like it may have come off of TXT. I bought 1" square tubing and I'm going to "engineer" it into place once I get the fenders on.
