48 volt solenoid failure.
I have a 98 ezgo dcs 36 that I converted to 48v. Alltrax 400xct controller 48v hd solenoid. Everything works great but the 48v hd solenoid failed, it worked for a while then failed , I put my original 36v solenoid back on and it worked. I ordered a different style 48v solenoid and same results worked for a while then failed. I put my og 36v solenoid back on and left it on,it has outlasted both 48v solenoids put together. 36v solenoid seems to get a little hot but it moves the cart where the 48v solenoids failed. Am I doing something wrong or were both of the 48v solenoids defective?

Re: 48 volt solenoid failure.
Are you using a 3 amp 1000v voltage suppression diode on all 48v solenoids?
