Default Battery charging

I am sorry if this has been covered but I could not find it after searching. Is it ok to leave my charger plugged in overnight? I am worried my batteries will be done and the charger will keep going. I have the factory charger and it came with a small after market charger. My cart stays at the campground so I was curious if I could leave it plugged in and go home. Yesterday I kept having to unplug and take kids places so it didn't get to full while we were there. I will invest in a Modz Max soon for sure. But it would be cool for now to use the factory one or this little after market one I have (P/N DL-240W).

Need more info on charger but my factory e z go on board charger stays plugged in at camp ground while I’m away. If voltage gets below 49.9 charger will automatically start a charge cycle.
It will not over charge batteries.
Again brand and model of charger dictates what it will do left plugged in but most all shut off after full charge, not all will initiate charge if voltage gets low.

Search battery chargers here for info on different brands of factory and after market chargers

I wouldn't worry about a factory charger overcharging. Thousands of carts are left unattended plugged in at golf courses. An aftermarket charger would depend on the brand and specs.
