2010 rxv worth it?
I am really wanting an rxv and a buddy has a 2010 for very cheap. I understand you really want a 2012 for the curtis controller. is this worth buying? you can't make this one fast using the programming from BobBoyce?

If I was doing a upgraded controller again I'd use a Navitus. Program it with your phone.

2010 should have the danaher controller. Best speed you can set that one to is 19.5 on stock tires. Swapping it to a Navitas will get you in the mid 20s easy.

I ended up passing on this one, as I do want a curtis controller. I am ready to get an RXV though. I think the suspension is much better than my old yamaha g22.

Don’t bet on that. At least the Yamaha has coil overs.

RXV has coil overs in the front but leafs in the back. My personal opinion for ride on a stock setup is the Yamaha

I would jump on a cheap RXV with any controller. Swapping controllers isn't a huge pain. I will probably get smacked around for this but...... I think the original Danaher controllers are more robust than the Curtis. A Curtis can be programmed to run faster and that's a plus for some.
