09 DS IQ clicks and stops

Hey guys. Clicks and stops even after short distance. Problem occurs in reverse also. Sometimes will start if I press pedal fully or release and press again. Sometimes not. New batteries, fresh charged. Clean and tight cables. 48V. Was doing this before replacing batteries. Any help greatly appreciated.

It sounds like the foot switch in the throttle is not closing. This would prevent the solenoid from closing.
