Default Cart ID help!

Hi all. I need help to ID this cart. 36V resistor style. Motor is 10 spline, oriented perpendicular to the rear axle. I've been told it's a Western body (fiberglass). From research I believe it's from the mid/late 80's(?) on an EZGO chassis. The only number i find is stamped on the passenger side frame rail under the seat: 30041294, but I get conflicting info using this number. I suspect I'm just not looking in the right place.

Brief back story: retired Father-in-law doesn't get around well, uses the cart exclusively within his retirement community. Completely quit working one day. I was volunTOLD to fix it, but I know nothing about these old electric carts.

Started down the rabbit hole and got turned three ways from Sunday trying to figure out what I had. Time keeps ticking, and in a rising panic, I bought a used replacement cart for him to use while I figured it out. So now, I'm in ~3K for that cart and have this...thing....sitting in my shop. I could really use some help. Can someone point me in the right direction? What info can I give to help?
