Blinker Kit on 2013 EZGO RXV

I recently purchased a 2013 EZGO RXV and, in an effort to make it “street legal”, purchased a turn signal kit from my local cart shop. It’s a RHOX plug and play kit, and the gentleman at the shop explained the 9-pin connector underneath the cup holders. Easy enough to find. However, there was already something plugged into it. On a whim, I unplugged the current connection and plugged in the blinker kit. Works like a charm, but now… no headlights. So I unplugged the blinkers for now as I drive a lot early and late and definitely need headlights.

The cart does appear to have an upgraded LED light kit, and I’m not sure if this is what’s taking up that current connection.

So, the question: is there a way to splice this new connection into the current light connection and have blinkers and lights. I’ve attached a picture of the current connection, and the new blinker connection (not currently plugged in). I did notice in the current setup, there are a couple of wires running off the plug that seemed to just be taped off. Wondering if I can somehow splice in on that connection.
