Default zip tie speed illustrations for a dumby

just got my tiny tach installed om my lifted 07 precedent and she is turning about 3000 rpms @ full speed. Guess I can bump that up about 800 and still be safe??? Not understanding this zip tie trick with words....this dumby needs pictures or video....anywhere to find that?

I just replaced my throttle cable.

Before, with the old thread bare, almost shredded one..I had the gov
tightened all the way down..and it would haul butt.

Then I had to back it all the way off..and now it runs good, but
like it is gov'd way down..
Can't I just run the throttle to the linkage via fab, and disco/zip tie my gov
linkage ???

Use two really small ties and adjust to around 3900 (if your limiter is still hooked up!)

I hate to be the bad apple here, but is this information that we want to have out in public forum? Not saying this is bad to adjust your govenor, but this also isn't something we need any and every kid with access to daddy's Club Car seeing. Some children just aren't responsible enough to know how to bypass a saftey feature...

Have you seen You Tube?

my 2 cents

Kipg,
It's the exact same setup,
The pic you have is at the back of the cart, looking forward...
The pic I have is sitting in the drivers seat, looking rearward!

Mike... I wholeheartedly agree with you!

BUT... sadly, the internet, IS the internet!
At least here at BGW, we can share information (always with safety in mind)
hopefully to someone that is responsible enough to own a cart, and that info can be removed if need be!

However, Youtube, and the rest of the internet... we have no control over!

Now... where is that disclaimer... Ahh... here it is!

I... anyone on this forum, or... BGW itself, is/are NOT responsible for your actions in the result of using,
or, misusing this information that may cause possible damage to yourself, your property, or someone else!

Ease up there big guy!

I'm sure Mike wasn't picking you out individually... I'm just as guilty as you are!
His statements were in general!

But, his point is that some dumba$$ can look at the info WE'VE given, and hurt themselves,
and I know that I wouldn't want that to happen!

But, it's better to get the info here (from a safety, and experienced standpoint)
rather, then from someone on Youtube or elsewhere on the internet, that dosen't care about someone elses safety!
