Yamaha G8 Build
Here are some pictures of my G8 build. Just received these awesome chromed wheels/tires from Wicked Carts. I hummed and hawed about paying the extra for chrome but my wife has polished mags on her Xterra and I finally clear powdered coated them so we didn't have to spend so much time polishing. So she said GET THE CHROME. Also you can see the custom tube bumper I built. It still needs a little trimming.
Next up a paint job. Haven't finalized the color yet. Also I am going to add some polished stainless trim here and there. Along the rocker panel I will have my company name waterjet cut into a stainless cover. For the bag well I am going to build a beer/pop/food cooler enclosing an insulated cooler with a custom flight case enclosure. I am also looking a how to lower the cart a couple on inches. As I progress I will post more pics. Fred Mc. |

Re: Yamaha G8 Build
Here are the latest pics of my G8. Just painted it (base coat/clear coat) and next is to polish the framework for the roof. The roof is broken in one corner so I plan to get a new one. I'd really like XT Innovations upholstery but I probably have to wait a while as my wife doesn't see anything wrong with whats on there now. I have to agree with her on that but "thats not the point". I think I will also build a new bumper for the back to match the front. And a few more ss pieces as well.

Re: Yamaha G8 Build
Very nice! Another way to look at the seat deal is, sell your seat while in good condition so it still has some value. Put that money toward the XT seat.
