Fred, i went to an automotive uphostery frabric wharehouse for an unrelated part and found the Mother Load of those type of fasteners there. And they were cheap, at an auto. paint store, they were expensive. That wharehouse had all kinds of flooring materials, carpet protectors, really worth the trip!

Here is a picture of the new roof I just got. Called the cc dealer about a used one and he said 50 bucks cash and voila. Its just like brand new.

Just added a cooler to my G8. Its lined with 1 inch foam so should keep pop/beer/food nice and cool.

I agree. But I have to content with rain as well as sun so it wasn't practical without a top.

Freddmc, where you located? That wrap around windsheild and aluminum top frame only came from one place....Cart Service Equipment, It was the original Yamaha dealership for the the Washington State. Our territory was (and still is now) Pacific NW and Alaska. The onwer (then) was an ex Boeing engineer and he desighned them. Nice car, really like the paint color and the front bumper.
