Generater and stereo?
Anyone know what amps the generater puts out on a G22? And if it is possible to modify them to put out more?
What are people running with big stereos and amps to keep them charged while driving? Anyone use Optima batteries on there carts? |

Re: Generater and stereo?
I'm running right now 2 hid headlights, led front parking lights, led stop and tail lights, led underbody kit, stobe lights in the front, stereo with 2 speakers.
I want to add a amp for the highs and a sub also. So the even more draw. And I mainly ride at night with everything on of course. That's why I am trying to figure out how to get more charging amps to the battery. I also let it sit with the under lights and stereo on for a long time sometimes when partying. And need it to charge back up quickly when I drive. Also at car shows it's mainly stop and go, so I don't get much high speeds for charging sometimes. Having a high amp altenator will help alot, it's the main source of power. |

OMG, your killing me!!! Perhaps you can tow a 6500 watt generator behind you. I think you would be covered.
How was the car show? Did the trailering thing work out for you? How about pictures, or did I miss that post? |

Re: Generater and stereo?
Might be a good idea! lol
The show didn't turn out to great. The weather was nasty the last 2 days so there wasn't much playing around or pictures. I will post some though, somewhere. |

Re: Generater and stereo?
Sorry to hear about the weather, but look forward to the pictures. The house closes tomorrow, and yesterday we finished moving out. Now I can refocus my attention on finishing my cart.
I'm still waiting for my internet air card, so I'm stuck with the crackberry. Can't use the smilies, dang |
