Default In desperate need of help!!!

I am trying to get rid of the rev limiter on my g2 so i bought a wiring harness and ignitor and voltage regulator off a g9 got it all hooked up and took it for a test spin and worked flawlessly untill i pulled it in the garage and tryed to go again and nothing
It only has 4.6volts at the trigger for the solinode is this right?? I cant figure out why it only has 4.6 volts seems like it should 12v
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you check the volts on the battery---full charge?

Sounds like maybe a new problem? Those things you did shouldn't affect the starting circuit.

Have you tried jumping the big terminals on the solenoid to see if it cranks over that way? Try that then post back .... Process of elimination.

EDIT: just read ZZTOPs suggestion ... That is always the best first step ;)

Agreed!! You at least need the 12v or close to that to engage the solenoid!

if i hold the foot feed down for awhile the trigger wire will gradually gain volatge till 12.4 volts then hook it back up to the solinod and hit the gas click and back down to 2-4 volts???

Sounds like a bad wire somewhere. I would check the resistance on your wires going to a nd from the solenoid!

Pull the rubber mat back, remove the pedal access panel, then unplug the bullet connectors from the pedal switch, jump them and see what happens. Could be a bad pedal switch, or as mentioned, bad wire somewhere.
