2005 G22 That Pulls And goes 25MPH
I have a yamaha G22 that I'm for sure getting a 7" long arm lift for and doing some governor cranking but what else would it take for this buggy to go 25 mph and climb up some hills! Size of tires and what not and what clutch kit I think 22" tires and a low torque kit and turn the governor up would this make it pull good and go at least 25mph I'm thinking a plowman clutch kit!

Re: 2005 G22 That Pulls And goes 25MPH
I think your on the right path with what you have planned. My G16 did 27mph with 18" (OD) tires but you have to watch your RPM's. With the larger tires you should be able to achieve 25mph. The torque kit you may sacrifice some top end, but not much.
Good luck, keep us posted. |

cart de golf has i nice set up by plowmans! the only thing else would be a comet clutch the yamaha ones don't have a stall spring and are doggy off the line compared to one with a tuned clutch that lets the motor rev up before take off.
