Default My G1 smokes after it has been driven for a while

I just purchased a G1 that smokes like crazy after it is warmed up. Is this a classic "New rings" problem or an oil injector issue?

was the engine recently rebuilt that it would have new rings? it could also be a worn engine thing. I dont use my oil injector (anymore) i didnt use it when i first got my cart and i was told by the previous ower it worked when he last used it (several years before that). I tryed it about 2 weeks ago and the engine went bad due to lack of oil. So from now on for security i will be mixing my self

First, WELCOME! I beleive that's why they don't produce 2 cycle carts anymore (even if they were the most efficiant for golf cars), Lets put it this way, you can not "burn" the oil, it is there for lubrication, so the oil gets thrown into the muffler. Over time the muffler fills with oil and carbon (witch tells the oil pump...back pressure...pump in more oil) so when you run the car and the muffler gets hot, it is trying to "burn" out the oil. Might look at the sticky "muffler Barbeque". Or buy a new muffler. Let us know what you decide.
