g9 front suspension/shocks
Hi guys, i'm new to the cart world so bear with me.i was wondering if i could get your 2 cents worth on this. I just finished my g9 build and now my front wheels are really leaning in on top. It's stock height, just paint and some 12"wheels and tires. I replaced the kingpin bushings already. Now the front end stays down when i push it down. When it's down the wheels really lean but i can grab the bumper and pull it up and they straighten right out. I'm thinking shocks but i just wanted to make sure i'm not overlooking something and to see what you guys thought before i order them. Any thoughts? Thanks

I'll bump this up for ya, I have a G9 and have gone through the front suspension on it, sounds like shocks to me........

The only other thing that might hold the A-arms would be if the bushing sleaves had been ground and the A-arm mounts were tightened down on them.
I've never seen a set of Yami springs (both?) give up the ghost like you describe. Post up some pics, heck, I'm still learning.............. |
