g14 gear lube change
can someone tell me the recommended gear lube and amount needed for my 1995 g14 thanks.

Jay, I believe it is less than 1 quart. It will start to come out of the side plug hole when it's full. You fill it by removing the vent plug/hose (carefully so as not to break the plug, it is old).

the vent plug on top of axel shaft? or rubbre plug in diff cover?

JAY, I may have told you wrong. I thought a G14 had the same rear end as a G8. If yours has a diff cover I don't want to tell you wrong again.
