Default 90 model kf82 no power

I replaced the connecting rod becuase it was knocking. now it does not have the power it had before. read thru all the articals here and have found no answers. as far as I can tell all the timing marks are lined up. I lapped the valves. it does seem to blow out the intake just a split second before the intake stroke starts. can anyone help me on this one?

carb is all there along with the brass screw. was gonna rebuild the carb later once i get this thing running again. I think I have the timing on. I know when I spin it by hand I get a little pressure out the intake before it starts pulling in. do you happen to have a pic of the timing marks?

Compression coming through the intake doesn't sound right at all, It sounds as though the valve is opening on the piston up-stroke and not just after TDC as it should. Definately sounds like the timing is off.

does anyone have a pic or drawing of the timing marks on the KF82? the only ones I seen on here are of a different engine Im guessing one of the FE's becuase the cyclinder is slanted.

got it pulled apart again. all the timing marks line up. i noticed the intake valve starts to open just before the exhaust closes. piston is just before TDC. mic'd the tappets and they are the same length. then noticed the cam gear was loose on the cam. rivets are starting to wear around the metal. can these betightened or do I need to replace it?
