Default F/R Shifter Shaft Removal

I have a 2006 CC Gas Precedent. Trying to remove the shaft that shifter attaches too. I remove the shifter and on the inside I removed the C clip/Spring/Yellow Cam/Shift Cable. But the shaft wont slide out, it feels like there is something like another c/clip or something holding it in, but I cant see one. Im afraid it might be between the Sub/Body and the body. Anyone ever take this shaft out before?

Default Re: F/R Shifter Shaft Removal

I tried to remove mine. It didn't work. I think the shaft gets seized in there. I had to cut the handle off with a dremel tool and order a new handle. They are cheap on ebay.
