Default Something slips when going up a hill or turning sharp.

I have a 1990 club car ds gas. When under a load of 500 pounds or so it feels and sounds like something is slipping when I'm going up a decent grade hill or turning sharply. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what this could be.

Slipping belt maybe? I'm no expert, but that would be the first place I'd check. Is there any wierd smells? And Welcome to BGW A.K.A. "The Addiction"!

Thanks for the welcome. I'll pull the back cover off and have some one watch the belt while I'm driving. Thanks for the suggestion. That sounds alot simpler than tranny or rear end problems which was my first fear.

That's what we're here for. Just glad I could actually help someone with a cart related issue.
