Chevy Volt set up and Eco Battery
Just starting a new thread so I can keep track!
Took my cart down to EB to see Noah. Even though I do not have one of his systems in my cart, he said that he would take a look around. I've never been able to get full petal and I have a code flashing on my Curtis controller and don't know why. How cool is it when a guy that never sold you anything is willing to poke around on your junk?! Something tells me that my 48 Volt system (1.17 hours on brand new batteries) may be posted in the For Sale section before long...... Big shout out to Noah and EB!! |

Re: Chevy Volt set up and Eco Battery
EB impressed me early on and I'm glad I went for it. The customer support is extraordinary. I've never had a question that had to be asked twice or was forgotten about.
Tell the crew Tom47 said "Hi" next time you are there, probably like tomorrow or something. I imagine you think I'm jealous....Nah, never in a million years! |

They are a fun group of guys-I can only imagine what it would be like to work there! Mess around all day with golf carts and electricity; like a kid in a candy store!
Noah is going to have Dallas take a look at my cart when he gets back; my guess is that I will be back in there late next week :) |

I'm glad to see the 105 fits between the frame rails on the older DS's. I wasn't sure if it would. Is it running differently and not having the fault code? |

Re: Chevy Volt set up and Eco Battery
Yeah-it kind of had to be done, what with being so close to those guys and after seeing the quality of what they build! I learned a ton with my Volt setup and am happy I did it, but this is so much cleaner.
Using a phone GPS, I was able to clock the cart with the Volt batteries at 28 mph. Dallas cleared the code and with the Eco battery he personally clocked 34 in the cart-quite an improvement in my book! Super happy with the new setup, and proud to be in the cool kid camp with an Eco Battery :) |

+1 here for the ECO team. I emailed Dallas a few random questions before I bought my battery a couple of weeks ago. He was awesome with all my questions and issues.
