Without getting into a lot of mumbo jumbo about fuels and their octane levels etc lets just say that your looking at it completely wrong. Low Octane fuel ignites easier than high octane and this is why it is used on low horse power applications.

Whereas diesel/heating oils/kero/jet fuel etc are not rated in octane but if they were it would be very high. Diesel must be finely atomized and heated quite a bit to get it to even ignite. So in truth there is a lot more stored energy in these fuel oils than gasoline.

But no matter how you slice it neither works very well in the wrong application...

As a lubricant, it's not a good idea, but as a fuel, mixed in small quantities, it should not hurt much and may have the added benefit of smoking out mosquitoes . Back during WWII, when gasoline was rationed and scarce, people would mix kerosene with their gas in order to stretch it out. A lot more smoke, more potential fouling of spark plugs, and additional carbon deposits could be expected. Being a G1 2 stroke, I don't think a build-up of carbon would be a good thing though, especially in the muffler......

You could run something like 10%, but there are better things to do with it. Its low grade diesel it is like kerosene but dirtier. Its not cheap stuff to buy so I'd find someone that wants it, or use for fire starter, burn in outside torches or lamps, etc. You could mix it into diesel and burn in an older diesel with a pump injection or older farm equipment, but I would not use it in a modern diesel with electronic injection. Lot of people on the North East coast still use heating oil. Around here most got rid of it, but now propane is about as costly to use lol. I still have one in my back building I just put diesel fuel in it. Heating oil delivery is typically 100 gal minimum or more.

I drained four gallons out. This would be the bottom of the tank. It seemed dirty to me even after being strained. I read it can host a fungus. A neighbor will add it to his oil tank. I do not know how much I have but guess 35-50 gallons. The tank is underground and difficult to reach. This can be a terrible problem in a real estate sale. Oil heat is still common in Southern Maryland. Thanks all.
